Our wonderful boy, Takoda born in 2000, came to us in January of 2005 at 4 years of age. He had broken his leg in his last race.  His trainer wanted him shot, but his owner wanted him in adoption (though not covering the cost of his leg surgery). He was always a joy.  He was wonderful with our other fur and feathered kids. He cared nothing about squirrels or anything else running around outside.  He went to the Bridge in August 2014.  He was sweet and loving and lives in our hearts forever.
