My Princess recently passed on March 28, 2016.  She would have celebrated her 10th birthday on July 29, 2016.  Holly had such a wonderful personality, so gentle and loving, and not to mention, an elegant appearance, as you see from her photo.  She loved to sit on the couch and I especially enjoyed it when she found me and hopped up and laid down with her head on my lap.  We had three greys and honestly really didn't like them on the furniture, but when I found Holly up there, It was OK, because she was a Princess.  Holly died from cancer in her chest.  As she slowly failed, her personality never changed a bit.  Her racing name was Knowing, but that didn't fit.  We picked her up a few days before Halloween, so it turned out Holly was the right name, and just suited her so much better.

I have this picture as my desktop photo, so I get to see her photo first thing in the morning, and then her image, as the last thing I see at night.  I really miss my Holly!! But, I do remember the story of the "Rainbow Bridge", and take consolation in believing that someday, Holly and I will cross the Rainbow Bridge together....

I am so happy to have had her as part of my life, but sadly the time was much too short !!
